 World football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has told Real Madrid fans he will not be joining Manchester City. The Premier League club, backed by billionaire Arab owners are ready to make the Portuguese international the highest paid player in the game's history.
  However the former Manchester United star says: "I'm not going to City.  "I give you my word I'm not going. Money is not the most important thing. If it was for money I could have double what I have. If it was for money I would leave.
 "The most important thing is the behaviour of the people and they treat me tremendously here and I am very happy in Madrid."
